Notes:
The church was founded in 1218 by the monks of Kelso. It was rebuilt in the 17th, 18th & 20th centuries, see the picture of the plaque for the last rebuild in 1909.
It is an unusual church in having eight external doors and four external stair-cases, leading to various lofts and vaults.
It is sign-posted off the A699 St.Boswells to Selkirk road.
